There are two locations that are referenced in several places in this manual

In a new installation, when you access the iGrafx platform URL, http8080, you are automatically forwarded to an Installation page, where you can complete the iGrafx Platform installation from within the browser. This page has two sections: General Settings and Database Settings, which are described below.

As an option, iGrafx may make extensions packages available to provide extra functionality to the iGrafx platform. One such package contains the Google Analytics extensions that allow iGrafx to gather anonymous utilization and performance statistics. These statistics don't contain any personal user information or content data; iGrafx uses the collected statistics to improve the user experience and performance of the application.

You want to push the URL of your iGrafx platform to your iGrafx Desktop Client users (i.e. Flowcharter), so they can pick it from the list of known URLs?

In some instances and within some corporate environments, Tomcat is only allowed to run with the Java SecurityManager enabled (see https//tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-7.0-doc/security-manager-howto.html). If this is the case, additional configuration is required to allow the iGrafx Platform to run, as the default security policies restrict access to almost all file, property and reflection features.
