If you have a repository in iGrafx 2015 that is synchronized with Enterprise Modeler then the following steps will result in a clean upgrade to a synchronized Origins repository. Due to significant changes in the structure of the resources in the repository in Origins, after migration you should avoid making edits prior to your first synchronization.

Problem

When iGrafx Desktop client documents are added to a repository, or updated versions are subsequently checked in, an XML representation of each contained diagram is created and used by the iGrafx Platform to display them in a Web browser client.

Before you continue with any upgrade make sure you have a backup of all repository databases as well as the administration database.
